The
Ultimate Good Samaritan and Friend
Good Samaritan
mourns the loss of Dennis Lennox, MD, chief of the Johns Hopkins
Division of Arthritis Surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital,
who passed away after battling cancer. He was a leader and
active clinical expert in arthroplasty (hip and knee replacements)
and osteonecrosis (bone death). In addition to his surgical,
clinical, and administrative duties, Dr. Lennox was internationally
known for his orthopaedic inventions.
"Dr.
Lennox was truly devoted to his patients. He was even known
to make house calls for patients who were unable to travel
to the hospital," says Larry Beck, president of Good
Samaritan Hospital. "He was the ultimate Good Samaritan
and friend."
